On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

Book-Themed Gifts!

Just in case you missed it, this is a book review blog. I imagine you're here because you love books. Or, at the very least, you're looking online for a great gift for someone in your life obsessed with the written word.

Take it from a self-professed bookworm: Bookish things make GREAT gifts. We don't always want books. (Well. We DO. But we're very particular about what we want, and there's so much we already have!) The gift that truly stands out is something creative and fun that expresses love for the written word.

Like Jewelry?

Nobody beats Etsy when it comes to adorable custom jewelry!

Here are three cute pairs of earrings I saw right off the bat:

Um, I WANT THESE. They're ADORABLE!!!

Books. I must have books 24/7...even hanging from my ears!

Earrings for any true fan!

You can also be more subtle with this beautiful rose necklace made from the written word!

Like Harry Potter?

How about a snazzy new case for your iPod or iPhone? This fun, weathered Maurader's Map is a wink to all all the other cool kids who get it.

Experiencing Mockingjay Fever?

Etsy has some super-cute bracelets to show your solidarity!

I love the clasp on this one!

This one has a great shape!

Make it Yourself!
You can do this one yourself if you're craft by following these instructions! There are also many vendors on sites such as Etsy that sell cute book clutches:

Already made for you! Perfect for the fairy tale lover!

I especially like the ones that use the lovely Barnes and Noble Leatherbound Classics, because those are some beautiful books!

Want to spruce up the home?

Barnes and Noble sells warm, cozy blankets with quotes if you want words to surround you when you're cuddled up with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate!

Available at your local store!

Cozy up in bed with the perfect blanket!
This is a full story, and as you change the pages, you add layers for warmth!
These blankets will be available for sale again in Spring 2015!
If you have money to burn, be prepared to blow it
on the chair to end all chair: the Bibliochiase from Nobody and Co!
It's a chair. AND a bookcase.
It's also obscenely expensive...unless you're a great carpenter!
